A&T Corporation — 3 OUI prefix(es)

Interpreting a A&T lookup

The table lists address blocks grouped under the Wireshark short name A&T. The registration identifies an organisation, which may differ from the brand of the finished device. Contract manufacturing, third-party wireless modules, acquisitions and historical names can all explain that difference.

Each record includes its prefix length: MA-L uses 24 bits, MA-M 28 bits and MA-S 36 bits. Range endpoints describe the registered block, rather than proving that every address has been assigned to a device. Enter all 12 hexadecimal digits of a MAC to prefer the longest available prefix match.

Limits and troubleshooting

A match cannot identify a model, owner or physical location, or authenticate a device. Randomised, locally administered and manually changed addresses are unreliable for vendor identification. For inventory, cross-check switch MAC tables, DHCP leases and device serial numbers.
